Meet Birth Day Suit Maternity!

Birth Day Suit Maternity was created by a mother-daughter team, Kathryn and Kristy. As Birth Day Suit maternity hospital gowns are taking off, many of you are wanting to know how we got started with such a venture.
Kathryn is a Certified Birth Doula with DONA International. Kathryn has a passion for babies and helping families have the birthing experience of their dreams. She is also very involved in Birth Circle and The Childbirth Resource Network in Fresno. Kathryn is a dedicated wife and mother to two grown and married children, Brian and Kristy. She is truly a "supermom"- not only is she the rock of her own family, but she has become like family to all of her clients.

Kristy, recently became a first time mom to a bouncing baby boy, Lincoln, in February of 2011. While pregnant, she joked that she needed to be camera ready at all times while in labor. If she was going to be walking the halls in a hospital, she wanted to look good doing it. This sprouted her designing and making her own hospital gown for the big day. At the hospital, Kristy got so much attention for her adorable maternity hospital gown that she felt like she just had to share this with other mommies-to-be.
A few months after little Link was born, Kathryn and Kristy were anxious to get their creative caps on and start sewing! Together, they developed a variety of styles of gowns for the laboring and postpartum woman-keeping fashion, comfort, and function in mind.

This mother-daughter team loves helping others mamas get everything they desire in their birthing experience, whether they are dressing a mommy-to-be to feel beautiful in a custom Birth Day Suit Maternity hospital gown, or helping to prepare a family for what to expect during labor. This darling duo loves all things pregnancy,birth, breastfeeding, and baby and will go above and beyond to help a mother transition into her new life smoothly....and photo ready!
